The Foundation at St. Mary'sDear Friend of St. Mary's Healthcare:

Maintaining the excellence of the healthcare provided by St. Mary's Healthcare requires ever increasing effort. High quality healthcare is more expensive than ever. We at St. Mary's are constantly seeking ways to improve patient care while operating within our and your financial limits.

Today there is great pressure for maximum efficiency in healthcare delivery. While such efficiency is possible - we must vigilantly maintain patient care excellence while achieving it.

With the finest of medical staff, skillful hospital administration, and the ongoing financial support of our generous community, St. Mary's proudly promises to continue offering the finest healthcare to all who come through its doors. Further, we promise to deliver our medical care with the compassion and respect for human dignity insisted upon by the founding Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.

I deeply appreciate your support of St. Mary's Healthcare and wish you and yours good health always.

Sincerely,

Victor Giulianelli,
President and CEO

The Foundation of St. Mary's Healthcare was formed in 1984 to encourage gifts to the Hospital in support of its mission to provide compassionate healthcare of excellence. Since that beginning, the Foundation has received gifts totaling over $9,000,000 from a generous community and supportive local businesses and foundations.

Now, more than ever, St. Mary's Healthcare needs the financial support of its friends. Monies contributed are applied to a variety of needs, all directed at continuously improving the organization's services and patient outcomes. Contributions help St. Mary's and its patients by providing funding for:

  • New construction to meet changing patient needs
  • Renovation to improve existing facilities and keep them modern
  • Diagnostic and therapeutic equipment to help assure the best patient outcomes possible
  • Endowment growth to help assure a strong future for SMH healthcare
  • Healthcare scholarships to enhance the local availability of well-trained healthcare employees
  • Employee continuing education to keep skills current with newly-discovered knowledge and techniques

The finest in patient care requires a constant investment in people, buildings and equipment. Your contributions perform the vital function of helping St. Mary's Healthcare maintain the state-of-the-art in healthcare while containing patient care costs.

The work of the St. Mary's Healthcare Foundation is also done by many hands, including volunteer board members, as well as a small paid staff. We welcome members of he community who would like to be involved with the great work that our generous donors allow us to do.
