Compassionate Care:
Here at the Podiatry Health Center, we understand that foot and ankle pain directly affects mobility. This can be a frustrating experience and could hurt just as much emotionally as it does physically. That being said, from the moment you schedule an appointment, come in for treatment, and walk out our doors, you will be treated with the same exceptional, compassionate care you come to expect from St Mary’s Healthcare.

Regardless of the presenting problem, Dr. Opese would like to reassure every patient, who entrust in him the privilege to care for any foot and ankle issue, that he solemnly vows to maintain a patient-centric approach that is guided by the following three-pronged treatment paradigm:

• A systematic approach to deformity assessment and correction for bone and joint conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and leg

• A bottom-up approach to evidence-based care that exhausts non-surgical treatments prior to considering minimally invasive surgery or complex reconstruction.

• And thirdly, a multidisciplinary approach to complex diabetic foot and ankle disorders that integrates both empiric recommendations and patient prerogatives.

Dr. Opese will be seeing patients at our Podiatry Health Center located at 446A Guy Park Avenue in Amsterdam, NY. If you need a referral to Dr. Opese, ask your primary care physician or call St. Mary’s Podiatry Services Clinic directly at (518)-770-7880 or fax at (518) 770-7813.
