Dr. Cristen Litz completed her undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, obtaining a degree in Movement Science in the School of Kinesiology. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida, where she also completed her general surgery internship and residency. During her residency, she completed a clinical research fellowship at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, focusing on clinical outcomes in minimally invasive surgery and quality improvement. She completed a fellowship in bariatric surgery at Advent Health in Tampa, Florida. Dr. Litz is passionate about improving the health and well being of her patients and treats diseases with advanced minimally invasive approaches, including both laparoscopic and robotic surgery.
