Chelsea received her BS in Biology from Cedarville University, AAS Nursing Degree from Hudson Valley CC, her BSN from WGU and her MS Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Sage Graduate School in 2021. Chelsea is originally from Broadalbin, NY and resides now in the Saratoga Springs area with her husband and daughter. She also enjoys and welcomes patients of all ages.

Nichole received her AAS Nursing Degree from Fulton Montgomery CC, her BS Nursing Degree from Russel Sage College in Albany, NY and MS Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from Sage Graduate School in 2013. Nichole resides in Fort Johnson NY with her husband and son. In addition to enjoying seeing patients of all ages she enjoys spending time with her husband and their 3 children and 2 grandchildren.

Dr. Cummings received his BS degree from Siena College in Albany, NY and his DO degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Dr. Cummings completed his residency in family practice at the old St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY in 2005. Dr. Cummings has been with the practice since July 2007.

Dr. Forlano received his BS degree from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA (Cum Laude) and then his MD degree at SUNY in Syracuse, NY. Dr. Forlano completed his residency in family practice at the old St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, NY in 2003 (Chief Resident). Dr. Forlano has been with the practice since August 2003. Dr. Forlano resides in Scotia, NY with his wife and 3 children.

Dr. Robert Droege is a Scotia NY native who received his BS degree from RPI in Troy, NY. He then received his MD degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY and finally completed his residency in Family Practice at the old St Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady NY in 1985. After practicing in rural NY for 5 years, he returned to the Amsterdam area in 1990 and has been with the practice ever since. He has a keen interest in caring for the entire family and is particularly patient with children. He loves the outdoors and you can find him in the local skies flying his single engine airplane.

Before becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner, Maureen Russell has been a registered nurse with St. Mary’s Healthcare for 11 years. Along the way Maureen provided comprehensive, safe, and compassionate care to patients from multiple units within St. Mary’s Hospital including the Medical Surgical Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Emergency Department, and Intensive Care Unit.
Maureen graduated with her master’s degree from SUNY Polytechnic Institute in 2021 preceded by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Suny Delhi in 2015.
“My beliefs about nursing are more than treating an acute or chronic problem but to treat a patient as a whole,” said Russell. “I also have a responsibility to the public and community to provide safe, holistic, patient-centered care. As a nurse, being able to apply my personal experience to contribute to a patient’s wellness and healing gives me a sense of pride.”
