We are a 100-bed hospital with a robust array of inpatient and outpatient service lines, including, but not limited to: primary care, pediatrics, ENT services, gastroenterology, podiatry, obstetrics and gynecology, urology, surgery, behavioral health, addictions treatment, urgent, emergent and ambulatory care, long term care, oncology/cancer medicine, infusion therapy services, retail pharmacy, headache center, sports medicine, physiatry and minimally invasive and robotic surgery. And, we’re proud to offer the Da Vinci XI, the most advanced da Vinci Robotic Surgery System in the world.

Our patients are served by 1,400 clinical staff and employees, with an average of 387,000 outpatient patient visits each year.

Founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1903, St. Mary’s pays special attention to the poor and underserved, and we remain fully aware of the need to address the spiritual, social, emotional, and physical needs of our patients.

Our Hometown

Located in beautiful Upstate New York, St.  Mary’s puts you within easy reach of Saratoga Springs, Albany and the Adirondack Mountains, all about a half hour’s drive from Amsterdam.

Albany International Airport is located just 35 minutes east, while a three-hour drive in any direction will take you to Montreal, Boston, New York City, Rochester, Vermont, New Hampshire or Connecticut. There is an Amtrak train station just steps from the hospital.
