Mission Vision ValuesSt. Mary’s Hospital was founded by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in 1903. When St. Mary’s first opened its doors on April 19, 1903, that hospital had 11 employees, 20 beds and a deep-seated resolve to provide all members of the community with the finest in medical care and the utmost in compassion. More than a century later St. Mary’s has over 1,600 associates, 123 acute care beds, a 160 bed skilled nursing home, over 10 primary care and specialty care sites, and over 30 community based behavioral health program through out the Montgomery and Fulton county are. From its very humble beginnings St. Mary’s has evolved into a modern community hospital offer the healthcare services across the full continuum of life.

In 2002, St. Mary's became a member of Ascension Health, the largest not-for-profit health care system in the nation. Ascension Health and St. Mary's share the promise of providing healthcare that works, healthcare that is safe and healthcare that leaves no one behind. ."
