St. Mary’s Healthcare Names Director of Mission Advancement and Community Outreach
AMSTERDAM, N.Y., August 24, 2026—Gina DeRossi has joined St. Mary’s Healthcare as director of mission advancement and community outreach.
DeRossi has more than 20 years of communications and engagement experience, most recently as corporate communications lead for GlobalFoundries in Burlington, Vermont, and Malta. An Amsterdam native, she also has strong ties to the region that St. Mary’s has been serving for over 120 years.
“Gina has exceptional professional skills and an abiding love for our community,” said Lisa Mazzoccone, vice president and chief people experience officer at St. Mary’s Healthcare. “We are confident she will advance our mission within and beyond St. Mary’s, and will enhance the partnerships that are essential to our continued success.”
Before joining GlobalFoundries, DeRossi was vice president of engagement for Soteryx Corp. in Saratoga Springs and public relations account director for Masto Public Relations in Albany.
She has served as secretary of the Amsterdam Industrial Development Agency board of directors, as an alderman on the City of Amsterdam Common Council, and as president and vice president of the Greater Amsterdam School District Board of Education.
