Early detection of breast cancer helps to ensure the best outcomes for treatment and survivorship. While there are different recommendations, we support the recommendation of the American College of Radiology and Society of Breast Imaging that women of average risk receive an annual mammogram starting at age 40. Why? Because a woman’s risk for developing breast cancer increases with age. And screening mammograms are the most effective method for early detection, which helps save lives.

Who is eligible for free transportation?
Any woman that does not have transportation to and from their appointment will qualify for a free ride. No matter if you have health insurance or not, you are eligible for transportation assistance.
