"Screen for Life" of Fulton and Montgomery Counties (Cancer Screening Services)
|
The "Screen for Life" Program of Fulton and Montgomery Counties provides FREE breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings to men and women who are uninsured, underinsured, income-eligible or unable to afford these services. The program also assists participants in securing follow-up care if needed and whenever possible.
"Screen for Life" is provided as a partnership between health-care and community providers in Fulton, Montgomery, and Schoharie counties and is funded by a New York State Department of Health initiative. All requests are handled confidentially through the Screen for Life Coordinator who can be reached by calling 518-770-7516.
Colorectal, cancer and cervical cancer screenings have been shown to be effective in the early diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Your well-being is important to us. Please take advantage of free screenings and other educational offerings in our community.
