Joint School is a once monthly multidisciplinary education program provided to those patients who are planning to have a total joint replacement.

During the program you will hear a presentation delivered by our multidisciplinary team including a pre-admission nurse, pharmacist, physical therapist, floor nurse, discharge planner and an acute rehab unit representative.  The program is designed to introduce you to a representative from each department in the same order that you will encounter on the day of your surgery.  We will provide you ample time with each presenter to ensure that you are well informed about the entire Joint Replacement Process.

The program usually takes between 1 to 2 hours from start to finish.
