St. Mary's Healthcare is the only facility in Fulton or Montgomery Counties to offer the services of Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs).

ATCs are recognized as Allied Health Professionals by the American Medical Association and are experts in preventing, recognizing and rehabilitating injuries related to physical activity. 

You can find our ATCs at area schools covering practices, on the sidelines at games, in the classroom giving educational in-services or in the clinic assisting with rehabilitation.

St. Mary's Healthcare is unique in that it is able to provide a team approach to rehabilitation for our area athletes.

Services provided:

• Injury screenings;
• practice and game coverage;
• pre-game preparation (taping, wrapping, stretching)
• proper fitting of athletic equipment;
• educational in-services;
• quick and safe return to play protocols;
• expedited referrals to specialists.
