SPONSORS, ATTENDEES, VOLUNTEERS MAKE GALA BALL A GREAT SUCCESS!
More than $80,000 was raised to support advances in area mammography and radiology services at the St. Mary's Healthcare 36th Annual Gala Ball, held on May 5 at the Desmond in Albany.
The theme was "Running For the Roses," and more than 375 people attended. Guests included individuals and corporate sponsors, and were treated to a silent auction, dinner and dancing, and were able to watch the Kentucky Derby on large screen televisions placed around the venue.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will contribute to advances in mammography and radiology, allowing St. Mary's to perform more non-surgical and minimally invasive testing, sparing patients from more painful and difficult procedures.
