Vic Giulianelli is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of St. Mary's Hospital at Amsterdam, NY. Vic took office on January 1, 2005.
In his role as President and CEO, Mr. Giulianelli oversees all of the strategic and operational processes of the 143-bed hospital. Prior to this position, Mr. Giulianelli served as the Vice President of Operations at St. Mary's from 1993-2004, and was the Assistant Administrator of the hospital from 1982 - 1993. Vic initially started at St. Mary's Hospital in 1980 as an Administrator in the Comprehensive Mental Health Center.

Vic is originally from Mechanicville, New York, but has been a resident of Amsterdam for more than 20 years with his wife Claudia and two children Matthew and Brigitta. He has a Masters Degree in Public Administration from SUNY Albany.

I am now extremely excited to have the opportunity to work with a Board of Directors that is both visionary and dedicated to serving the needs of our entire community. Together with our associates and medical staff, we will work to achieve the vision of our Board to be that strong, Catholic Regional Hospital, where patients, physicians and associates prefer us because of our reputation for excellence and service and our commitment to safety and quality."
Vic is an active member of the community. His accomplishments include: past president and active member of the Amsterdam Rotary Club; past president and board member of Community Health Center; past president of Community Services Support Corporation; past president and board member of the YMCA; board member of Northeastern NY March of Dimes; board member of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce; board member of GAVAC. Vic also served as the Chairperson for the 2002 United Way campaign. He co-chairs and is an occasional performer for the annual Rotary Variety Show. He is a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America.
In 2000, he was awarded the "Rotarian of the Year" and in 2002 he received the YMCA "Citizen of the Year Award. One of Vic's latest community activities is his role as the lead singer with "MedRock", a local band that performs for charitable causes. "MedRock" includes former St. Mary's President and CEO, Peter Capobianco, Dr. William Mayer, Dr. Noy Militar and Dr. Sean Ryan.
Vic is also a Diplomat of the American College of Health Care Executives.
