St. Mary's Healthcare, Amsterdam offers financial counseling and assistance to help address any financial concerns patients or families may have regarding their care. Our financial aid policies, which can be found on the information link below, reflect St. Mary's Healthcare's dedication to working together with our patients in a compassionate and caring manner to identify options for resolving their financial obligations. If you have no insurance, you may contact a Financial Counselor to see if you may be eligible for a health insurance plan such as Medicaid, Child Health Plus, or Family Health Plus. Eligibility is determined based on family size and income level.
If you are unable to pay your hospital bills, St. Mary's Hospital offers an Assistance Program, which may help to reduce part or all of your bill. In order to help you, the Financial Counselor will need you to provide detailed financial information. The Counselors need this information to complete the assistance form. All information and discussions are strictly confidential.
